Who is Pastor Leon White:
Pastor Leon T. White is a native of Chicago, IL. He attended Proviso East High School
and later attended Chicago Baptist Institute to further his theological studies education.
He was called to the ministry in April 2002 and had been preaching God's Word with
power every since! He was appointed as Pastor of the Joshua Missionary Baptist Church
on July 12, 2009. He is the son of the late Pastor Carl Lee White, Sr. who handed the
torch to him following his retirement.

Under his leadership, the congregation has more than tripled in size. His vision for the
the ministry has afforded Joshua and our surrounding community members to benefit
from various outreach programs, including food packs, clothing, and food drives for the area
shelters and many youths and young adult programs. He mentors and supports
ex-offenders and those who need godly counsel through life's journey.

He is known for his infectious smile and his warm personality. Every Sunday Pastor
Leon can be found preaching and teaching the word of God. He is loved by members of
the community and congregation in which he serves.
