7 Last Sayings of Christ from the Cross
In the final hours of His earthly time, as Jesus hung on the Cross, He made seven statements – each teaching us more about Jesus and His character. These are from four Gospel accounts, and are known as Jesus’ “seven last sayings.” Let’s spend some time today reading (and listening) to these 7 last sayings that Jesus spoke from the Cross.

Leon Nick Miller
Co-Pastor at Mt. Ebenezer Baptist Church
As a native of Chicago, IL, Leon Nicholas Miller Jr. has been serving in ministry since he was a teenager. Pastor Miller holds a B.A. in Music Education, a Masters in Educational Technology, and a Masters in Divinity from Northern Seminary in Lisle, IL. He also studied Hebrew at Jerusalem University.
Leon is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. He has been a music educator in Chicago Public schools for over 15 years.
He is the Founder and CEO of Bright Minds Music School where he instructs in piano, organ, and all band instruments.
He and his wife, Janelle, are the proud parents of two boys, Leon and Langston, and one daughter, Jordan Miller.

Terry Webster, Jr. (Pastor Tee) is a native of Indianapolis, IN and has been preaching, teaching, and motivational speaking for over 14 years.
Terry holds a B.A. in Pastoral Leadership, and a M.A. in African American Ministry.
He currently serves as Lead Pastor of The Village Church-Indy which is a plant of Nu Corinthian Church.
Pastor Tee is the founder and CEO of T3 Impact, Inc. a non-profit organization. As a Certified Mental Health Specialist, he seeks to promote and provide mental and spiritual wellness services to disadvantaged populations.
He is the proud husband of Kela Webster, and father of Trey, Tanner, and Isyss.

He attended the Gospel Missions Outreach Theological Seminary, currently he is enrolled at the Metropolitan Christian University completing his Bachelorof Arts in Biblical Studies.
He is an instructor in the United Baptist State Convention, as well as Sunlight Baptist District Association, Sunday School instructor since the age of nine, and was recently installed as Pastor of the Greater Christian Love Baptist Church of Chicago.

Pastor Leon T. White is a native of Chicago, IL. He attended Proviso East High School and later attended Chicago Baptist Institute to further his education in theological studies.
He was appointed as Pastor of the Joshua Missionary Baptist Church
on July 12, 2009. Under his leadership, the congregation has more than tripled in size.

Pastor of the St. James Unity Baptist Church
Joseph Campbell was born October 30, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois.
He is the pastor of the St. James Unity Baptist Church. He believes education is an important tool in life and the one thing that people cannot take away from you. He proves this every Sunday by teaching his Sunday School as well as in his daily life, where he serves as an assistant principal with Chicago Public Schools.
He has his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, his Masters of Arts in Teaching, and a Masters in Educational Leadership. He soon hopes to start his doctoral program this year.
He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Pastor Campbell has one child, Nathan.

He accepted his call into the ministry on April 6, 2006, and was licensed and ordained on August 11, 2007, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Johnny L. Miller.
He’s currently serving as the Men’s pastor at New Life Covenant Church (Humboldt Park).
He was born and raised in Chicago, IL, on the city’s westside. With a strong desire to maximize his spiritual potential, so that he could be thoroughly equipped to advance the kingdom of God. Pastor Keys holds certificate from Moody bible institute in expository preaching and teaching and an A.A. degree in religious studies with an area of concentration in comparative religion and Bachelor of Ministry degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in Greenville, North Carolina in 2017. He has his eyes set on obtaining a doctorate in theology in the near future.
He has traveled both nationally and internationally, ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Rodney Curtis Griffin, Jr.
Pastor of Greater Grace Church
Dr. Rodney Curtis Griffin, Jr. a native of Chicago, Illinois was born on April 22. He began his Christian experience at an early age, and was baptized at High Mountain M.B. Church where Rev. Earlie Johnson serves as pastor. He is now a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Johnny L. Miller.
Dr. Griffin holds a Bachelorof Arts degree in Religious Studies and Business and a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies from Faith Evangelical Seminary in Tacoma, Washington.
In May 2019, Pastor Griffin was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Ministry.
In October of 2012, Reverend Griffin accepted the call to become the 8th pastor the Saint John Baptist Church in Gary, Indiana making him the youngest pastor in the church’s history. Under his leadership, Saint John experienced new growth spiritually and numerically. With nothing but his faith in God to guide him, Dr. Griffin organized Greater Grace Church in
July 2014.
